Introduction
The following guide will provide you with instructions on how to request medication/prescription renewals in the Patient Portal.
Patients can only request prescription renewals, not pharmacy refills, through My Union Health Portal. The renewal requests are sent to the provider, not to the pharmacy. To refill a medication that does not need to be renewed by a provider, patients should contact the pharmacy directly. They can refer to the pharmacy label on their prescription container to determine if refills are available, or if they need to request a renewal.
